Village increases rates for Water and Sewer Service

The Board of Trustees of the Village of Waynesville found it necessary to increase both the Water and Sewer rates at the September meeting, due to an increase in operating costs. The Water rates had not been increased since 2013 and Sewer rates had not been increased since 2019. The Board voted to increase the rates for both utilities by $3.50 each, with rates to take effect on October 20th. The amended Ordinances were adopted at the October 10, 2022 meeting. Rates will be charged starting November 1st and bills received in December for November usage will reflect the rate increases. The new Flat Rate for Water will be $20.85 for the first 940 gallons, and the Flat Rate for Sewer will be $20.75 for 9,999 gallons of water or less.
