Septic System Information For Current Residents

The septic systems in town are owned and maintained by the Village of Waynesville as long as you reside within the Village limits. If you encounter an issue with your septic system, please contact the Village Hall so that the Village Maintenance Personnel can check your system to determine if the issue should be handled by the homeowner or the Village. The homeowner is responsible for maintenance of the pipe connecting the home to the septic tank and the Village maintains the tank and seepage field or connection to the Mound System if the yard is too small for a functioning seepage field.
